Datatec Systems Awarded Two Deployment Contracts Valued Up to $4.5 Million

Datatec Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: DATC), a leading provider of technology deployment services and software tools, today announced that it has been awarded contracts through a global Professional Services partner to implement new networking technologies at two distinct major foodservice retailers.
The total value of the contracts is up to $4.5 million. Work is scheduled to start immediately and is forecasted to contribute revenues of approximately $1 million in Datatec's fiscal 2003 first quarter, which commenced on May 1, 2002.
