itelligence Consulting(TM), an SAP(R) Systems Integration Partner, today announced its selection as the implementation partner for the mySAP(TM) deployment at Sumitomo Mitsubishi Silicon Corporation`s (SUMCO) facilities in the United States. SUMCO is an electronic-grade silicon manufacturer for the global semiconductor industry.

SUMCO's silicon wafers are used internationally and domestically to make integrated circuits and semiconductor devices that power a myriad of electronic products from computers to cell phones, digital watches to automobile engine systems. SUMCO services also include Research and Development on new technologies and product applications.

itelligence Consulting(TM) will be implementing mySAP's(TM) core modules during three phases for the SUMCO manufacturing facilities located in Fremont, California; Albuquerque, New Mexico; Phoenix, Arizona; and Maineville, Ohio. The core modules of mySAP(TM) to be implemented are Financials and Controlling Sales, Distribution, Production Planning, Materials Management and Plant Maintenance. SUMCO chose itelligence Consulting(TM) as their implementation partner because of its responsiveness and hands-on approach to meeting their needs.

After deciding to implement mySAP(TM), SUMCO's main goal was to centralize and convert all of its manufacturing sites into one system. SUMCO's two Salem, Oregon facilities already use mySAP(TM). The process will enable SUMCO to synergize its suppliers with elite purchasing power and scheduling capabilities.
