Aircraft Shopper Online Adds Access to JSSI Hourly Cost Maintenance Programs, Equipping Buyers With Fast Information About Aircraft Maintenance Costs

New Site Feature Aids in Purchase Decisions

Aircraft Shopper Online (ASO), the leading online marketplace for pre-owned aircraft, has expanded the resources it offers to aircraft buyers by making information on JSSI(R)'s hourly cost maintenance programs available directly from the ASO website (www.ASO.com).

New links in the sections of the site that list business aircraft for sale enable shoppers to request JSSI program information and program prices for the specific aircraft they are considering, assisting users in evaluating overall costs of ownership as well as exploring maintenance options.

JSSI's programs are designed to control the operating expenses associated with ownership of turbine-powered aircraft. Participants pay a standard maintenance fee per hour flown that covers both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for the length of their contract. JSSI then covers all maintenance bills, regardless of cost. Work can be performed by any manufacturer-authorized service facility, offering a significant advantage over similar programs offered by aircraft manufacturers.

JSSI provides additional flexibility through a unique equity transfer policy that enables owner/operators to transfer any equity remaining in their JSSI account to the new owner/operator(s) at the time of an aircraft sale. Alternatively, the seller may elect to apply the balance to his next aircraft. Customers can choose from a variety of engine-only maintenance packages or the JSSI Tip-to-Tail(R) maintenance program for complete engine and airframe coverage.

"Maintenance is the biggest wild card in operating an aircraft, and our programs ensure budget stability by guaranteeing maintenance costs," said Tony Kioussis, vice president of new business development for JSSI. "We selected ASO as our first online partner because it is the major destination site for people in the market for pre-owned aircraft, and it therefore offers us an excellent means of reaching our target audience."

The JSSI relationship is the latest step in ASO's efforts to provide site visitors with a broad range of products and services associated with buying, selling, owning and operating an aircraft. The site also enables aircraft shoppers to place orders for PRIMEDIA's Aircraft Bluebook-Price Digest(R) and for Conklin and de Decker's Cost Evaluator reports on total ownership costs for specific makes and models of aircraft.

"By incorporating links to information about JSSI's programs at strategic locations on our site, we are helping to educate our customers about alternative approaches to maintenance that may not only save them money but also enhance the resale value of their aircraft," said Tony Friend, president of ASO. "This fits our objective of becoming a central resource for key products and services needed by aircraft shoppers and owner/operators."

About JSSI

Jet Support Services, Inc. (JSSI(R)), founded in 1989, is a service company dedicated solely to providing financial solutions for maintenance of turbine powered aircraft, engines and airframes. The company pioneered the concept of hourly cost maintenance programs independent of any airframe and engine manufacturer. This independence allows JSSI to cover all types of aircraft engines and airframes while providing maximum flexibility to its clients. For more information, visit www.askjssi.com.

About ASO

ASO is a leading online source for used transport, business and personal aircraft. Since the inception of the ASO.com site in 1995 as the first comprehensive Web-based listing of pre-owned aircraft for sale, the company has helped bring about a fundamental change in the way that used airplanes are bought and sold by allowing shoppers to search up-to-date listings in their specific area of interest rather than pore through outdated print magazines. A tool on the site, i.aso, further streamlines the process by proactively matching aircraft buyers with the planes of their choice. For more information, visit www.ASO.com.
