NEW YORK & FAIRFAX, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 20, 2002
Alliance Offers Comprehensive Portfolio of Software and
Professional Services to Address Cost Containment and Revenue
Maximization
PricewaterhouseCoopers and Vibrant Solutions today announced a strategic alliance that offers telecom service providers a greater ability to contain operating costs and increase revenues.
Under the terms of the alliance, PricewaterhouseCoopers agrees to market Vibrant Solutions' complete suite of Cost and Revenue Management software, and Vibrant Solutions will market PricewaterhouseCoopers' Telecom Cost Minimizer (TCM) and Telecom Revenue Maximizer (TRM) business advisory services.
Under the terms of the agreement, PricewaterhouseCoopers will provide advisory and integration services around Vibrant Solutions' software products, including certified installations and upgrades.
Many of today's service providers often lose double-digit millions - amounting to a decrease of 5-20% from the bottom line -- as a result of disparate systems, organizations and data sources within their networking environment. Service providers are seeking solutions that address revenue leakage, billing errors, and poor network utilization.
PricewaterhouseCoopers' InfoComm Advisory Services (ICAS) Group consists of more than 250 telecom industry experienced professionals. The team performs diagnostic, process and systems reviews to identify, quantify and capture both revenue leakage and cost management savings.
The ICAS Group delivers revenue assurance and cost minimization solutions to telecommunications companies in every segment (ILEC, IXC, wireless, ISP, and CLEC).
"One of the greatest challenges facing C-level executives of telecom companies is the ability to manage operating costs and maximize revenues in a turbulent environment," said Randy Browning, partner, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. "By teaming with industry leaders such as Vibrant Solutions, we offer service providers a proven solution to address bottom-line profitability."
"The challenge for service and content providers today is greater than ever - they are faced with multiple technologies, multiple networks and pressure to increase their margins. Vibrant Solutions and PricewaterhouseCoopers address these problems head-on with their Cost and Revenue Management solutions," said Rich LaPerch, CEO, Vibrant Solutions.
Vibrant Solutions' Cost and Revenue Management products serve as a powerful bridge between network and finance, generating revenue improvements and cost reductions, which can be equal to or greater than those resulting from mergers or restructuring.
Vibrant Solutions' applications extract and analyze critical data from various systems - finance, network management, billing and OSS) - and identify errors within the workflow processes of the back-office systems.
