ON DEMAND 2002
MILFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 26, 2002
Industry's Most Successful Leaders to Offer Solutions, Insights,
and Hands-on Assistance to Grow Businesses and Profit Margins
More than 20,000 professionals in the digital printing and publishing industry expected to attend ON DEMAND 2002 will be able to learn from the experts and discover the tools and information needed to operate faster, better and cheaper and gain efficiencies in every stage of the print supply chain. ON DEMAND Printing and Publishing Strategy Conference and Exposition, which runs from April 22-25, 2002, at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York, is the worlds' largest event for digital solutions in printing and publishing.
This year, ON DEMAND will offer two conferences, totaling 61 sessions, over the course of the 4-day event. The Business Communications Conference will focus on three new areas; Enterprise Document Strategies; Publishing Trends and Practices; and Transaction Printing and The Data Center while the Print Service Providers Conference will concentrate on Growth Strategies and Best Practices, and Publishing Trends and Practices. Program participants from both conferences are offered Special Briefings which include "Reports from the Field"- case studies by real-world users; and "Emerging Technology" presentations which targets new and budding technologies that enable today's growing print-on-demand applications.
"As print becomes a commodity, we must make it better, faster and cheaper - and we must bundle that print with value-add services," said Charles A. Pesko, Jr., Managing Director, CAP Ventures, Inc. "By attending the educational sessions at ON DEMAND 2002, attendees will gain knowledge on streamlining and improving processes for themselves and for their customers. The result will be lower costs, higher customer satisfaction and new revenue streams."
On Wednesday, April 24, a special full-day 1:1 Marketing Forum, sponsored by the Direct Marketing Association and the Digital Printing initiative (PODi), will be included in conference packages, or available as a one-day event. This Forum will focus on case studies and examples of successful 1:1 print and web business-to-business and business-to-consumer applications. Sessions will be presented from the financial services, industrial, automotive, retail, healthcare/pharmaceuticals and high technology business sectors.
Individuals new to the industry can sign up for pre-conference tutorials taking place all day on Monday, April 22. Eight information-packed sessions will provide attendees with the opportunity for in-depth training before the exhibit hall opens.
In addition to the Conference, the ON DEMAND exhibit hall will have 150 exhibitors demonstrating the latest technology and applications in the digital publishing and printing marketplace. Companies include: Canon, Hammermill, Heidelberg, IKON Office Solutions, Indigo, Konica, Oce, Ricoh, Xeikon and Xerox.
More keynote presentations have been added this year and will have a total eight industry leaders throughout the three-day event. To register for any of the conferences at ON DEMAND 2002, visit www.ondemandexpo.com.
