LEXINGTON, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 26, 2002
Two preferred-seat tickets and pre-race pit passes for the exciting Pepsi 400 at Daytona International Speedway on July 6, plus four nights' hotel stay at Daytona Beach, await the winner of the LSB Loan Sweepstakes which was kicked off last week throughout the bank's four-county market.
Anyone borrowing $10,000 or more in a personal loan, vehicle loan, home improvement loan, boat loan, equity loan or mortgage loan is automatically entered into the 11-week sweepstakes, according to LSB The Bank EVP Frank Sherron. And the borrower's name is entered again for every $5,000 over and above the requisite threshold, he said, "giving the customer even more opportunities to win the First Prize or the $500 cash runner-up prize." He said there would be another 100 winners of cushioned "LSB Racing" stadium seats.
"People who want to borrow for any worthwhile purpose will not only find competitive rates and fast loan decisions with LSB's Beeline Banking(TM), but the sweepstakes opportunity provides them with an added value over other lending institutions," Sherron added, "and it is fun. There's nothing wrong with having some fun at your bank's expense."
LSBThe Bank branches throughout Forsyth, Davidson, Guilford and Stokes counties are decorated in stock car racing decor, from checkered flags, slick racing tires and life-size posters of popular drivers. A Kevin Harvick show car has been on display at the LSB Welcome Office, courtesy of the Richard Childress Racing Museum.
Non-borrowers 18 years of age or older may also enter the sweepstakes by sending their name, address, telephone number and the words "The LSB Pepsi 400 Loan Sweepstakes, March 18-May 31, 2002" on a 3x5 card to LSBThe Bank, Loan Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 867, Lexington, N.C. 27293. One entry per person is allowed and no purchase is necessary.
"We're going to draw all the winners' names on June 12," Sherron said, "and if anyone wants one of those authentic racing tires we have displayed in our branches, they need to come in and sign up and we'll give them away, too."
