"Star" Trek to Jamaica for 40th Birthday Bash

The north coast resort town of Montego Bay, Jamaica will never be the same following Star Jones' Fabulous and Forty Birthday bash this past weekend.

Star and 40 of her gal pals jetted to the island on Air Jamaica for a fabulous four-day birthday fete at the super exclusive Half Moon Golf, Tennis & Beach Resort. Joining her for the non-stop festivities were family and friends Lisa Ling, Lorraine Bracco, Kim Cattrall, Denise Rich, Karenna Gore-Schiff, Holly Robinson Peete, Natalie Cole, Vanessa Bell Calloway, Jackee Harry and Malaak Compton-Rock (wife of Chris Rock).

The "Star" studded weekend included a day of spa pampering, beach parties, bamboo rafting on the Great River, and a cocktail cruise aboard the "Zein," a luxury yacht built by Aristotle Onassis. Dom Perignon, Star's favorite bubbly, flowed freely throughout the weekend festivities. The magical hilltop villa, Silent Waters, provided the fantasy setting for Star's All White formal party, where Natalie Cole sang "Unforgettable" to her diva pal at the stroke of midnight.

And what would a birthday party be without a goody bag? Star's lucky gals went home with a who's who of gifts from such top names as Christian Dior, Michael Kors, Fubu, Sean John, Payless, Karen Neuburger, MAC, Saks, Armani, Bliss, Lancome, Swarovski, Burberry Wolfe Designs, Loreal, Ralph Lauren, Speedo, Dom Perignon and the Star Jones Collection.

The celebration served as the kickoff of the not-for-profit "Starlet Fund." The inaugural award was made in Jamaica to Woman, Inc. a Jamaican based organization that provides services to women who are the victims of domestic violence.
