VIRGINIA BEACH, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 4, 2002
Liberty Tax Service will offer free tax preparation at offices nationally on March 11th to salute police, firefighters and emergency rescue workers for the brave service that they provide to our communities.
This event falls on the six-month anniversary of the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center and Pentagon.
"After the events of September 11th, Americans aren't taking for granted the everyday heroes who serve us. Often the tireless service these community servants provide puts them in harm's way to keep our streets and neighborhoods safe," said John Hewitt, Founder and CEO of Liberty Tax Service. "This is our company's way of saying thanks."
If you are employed as a policeperson, firefighter or emergency rescue worker and need more details call (800) 790-3863 for the office near you.
