HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 5, 2002
Vector ESP, the nation's leading integrator of Web-centric computing solutions, announced today that the company has joined the newly-launched Fast Track program from Citrix Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: CTXS), a global leader in virtual workplace software and services. The Citrix Fast Track program consists of 500 partners worldwide that will be the first authorized to resell Citrix(R) NFuse(TM) Elite Access Portal server when it becomes available in the first half of the year.
The Fast Track program is comprised of 500 Citrix partners and resellers that have been certified and trained on Citrix's recently introduced NFuse Elite product, the company's simple, powerful access portal server. NFuse Elite will deliver personalized access to Web-native applications and content, as well as UNIX(R), Windows(R) and Java(TM) applications, through a single browser-based interface, boosting productivity and increasing profitability.
"Working with Citrix via a program like Fast Track is a natural fit," explained Tom Flink, senior vice president of Vector ESP, because of Vector's leadership in the area of enterprise portals and its longstanding relationship with Citrix.
"With Vector ESP's Enterprise Integration Portal SM service and the dozens of portal engagements we've had over the last two years, Vector ESP is in a uniquely qualified position to help bring Citrix NFuse Elite to market," explained Flink.
"Vector ESP has extensive experience in Citrix technology and integration, and we're very excited about the opportunity to once again work with Citrix on promoting the benefit of portal technology across the enterprise," Flink added.
In December, Vector ESP was one of only five initial companies chosen to participate in the newly launched Citrix Certified Consulting Program.
"We greatly value our relationship with Vector ESP," said Charlie Clements, Citrix vice president Americas. "We already enjoy a collaboration that has been of benefit to both organizations. Now, we are pleased to have Vector ESP share in the introduction of our new access portal product and look forward to leveraging their expertise in portal technology as we help customers realize the promise of the virtual workplace."
