Integrated Information Systems Names Richard M. Gardner to the Board of Directors

Integrated Information Systems Inc. ("IIS") (Nasdaq: IISX), an innovative technology and business consultancy, Tuesday announced the appointment of Richard M. Gardner to its board of directors and IIS' audit committee.
Gardner is a certified public accountant who served 38 years in public accounting with Deloitte & Touche LLP in Los Angeles and Phoenix, beginning his partnership with the firm in June 1973.
During this time, his management positions included partner-in-charge of the Los Angeles assurance & advisory services (audit), emerging business services and marketing groups, and professional practice director, where he was responsible for risk management, quality control, concurring reviews and technical consultation on accounting, financial reporting and auditing matters.
Gardner is a board member for the Arizona State Board of Accountancy; and previously served as amicus committee chairman of the California Society of CPAs; president and chairman of the board of Florence Crittendon Services; treasurer of the board of trustees for The Marlborough School; chairman of the advisory committee for Brigham Young University's School of Accounting; member of the dean's advisory board for California Polytechnic State University SLO, School of Business; and a member of the advisory board for UCLA Business and Economics.
Gardner received his Bachelor of Arts in accounting from Brigham Young University.
