An analysis of political contributions to Michigan's gubernatorial candidates has revealed that Michigan Attorney General Jennifer Granholm is the clear favorite of Michigan's personal injury lawyers according to Michigan Lawsuit Abuse Watch, M-LAW. During a news conference at the state Capitol Building, the nonpartisan watchdog group announced that Granholm has received 86.2% of all the money Michigan trial lawyers have given to candidates for governor, earning Granholm the tongue-in-cheek "Personal Injury Lawyers' Choice 'Award.'"
