Sabre Selects Siebel eBusiness Applications

Siebel Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:SEBL), the world's leading provider of eBusiness applications software, today announced that Sabre Inc. (NYSE:TSG), the leading provider of technology, distribution, and marketing services for the travel industry, selected Siebel eBusiness Applications to synchronize and accelerate the coordination of customer interactions across multiple channels.
Sabre plans to deploy Siebel Sales 7 to enable its sales organizations to identify and pursue top opportunities that will improve visibility into the sales pipeline. Siebel Sales 7 provides sales teams with a single repository for all customer information, marketing collateral, and presentation materials. Management and sales personnel will also benefit from improved forecasting and enhanced territory management capabilities. Siebel eBusiness Applications will support Sabre's mobile workers who use laptops in the near term and handheld devices in the future.
Siebel Call Center 7 will allow Sabre to reduce operational costs by enabling agents to handle blended service, support, and sales interactions seamlessly across multiple channels. Siebel Marketing 7 will enable Sabre to deliver a comprehensive marketing solution for the complete design, execution, and management of personalized, permission-based campaigns across all channels of customer interaction including phone, direct mail, the Web, wireless devices, email, and direct sales.
