Dole Food Company, Inc. (NYSE:DOL) Tuesday announced the appointment of John T. Schouten to President, Dole Fresh Flowers. In his new position, Mr. Schouten will report directly to Lawrence A. Kern, Dole Food Company President and Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Schouten joined Dole in 1985. Prior to this promotion, he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of all commodity operations for Dole Worldwide Vegetables. He earned his BA degree from the University of Oregon.
