SAVVIS' Financial Xchange Offers Network Connectivity to the REDIbook ECN

REDIBook ECN Platform Utilizes SAVVIS to Support Increases in Volumes
and Liquidity, and to Enhance Network Connectivity Options
SAVVIS Communications (NASDAQ:SVVS), known as "The Network that Powers Wall Street(SM)," announced today that the REDIBook ECN, recently merged with the Archipelago ECN, will offer secured IP VPN connectivity to its trade matching and routing systems via SAVVIS' Financial Xchange(SM) services.
Archipelago and REDIBook recently completed their merger, combining the two fastest growing ECNs. The merged entity will be called Archipelago. Currently, the Archipelago and REDIBook ECN systems are operating separately. The integration of the order books and trading systems that Archipelago and REDIBook currently operate is scheduled to begin late in the second quarter, with connectivity to the combined platform available through SAVVIS.
