Manugistics (Nasdaq:MANU) today announced its support for Sun Microsystems' Solaris(tm) 9 Operating Environment (Nasdaq:SUNW). Manugistics' leading solutions for Enterprise Profit Optimization (EPO), in conjunction with the Sun platform, will provide scalable, secure and reliable solutions for clients facing diverse challenges in today's fast-moving global markets. Manugistics intends to optimize its solutions running on the Sun Solaris 9 platform, providing organizations with complete solutions for EPO that combine the cost-reducing power of service and parts management, supplier relationship management and supply chain management, and the revenue-enhancing capability of pricing and revenue optimization.
