Inter Parfums, Inc. and Diane Von Furstenberg Sign License Agreement for Fragrance and Beauty Products

Inter Parfums, Inc. (NASDAQ National Market: IPAR) today announced that it has entered into an exclusive worldwide license agreement with Diane von Furstenberg for the development, manufacturing and distribution of fragrance, cosmetics, skin care and related beauty products, to be sold under her trademarks: Diane von Furstenberg, DVF, Diane von Furstenberg The Color Authority, and Tatiana.
Designer and entrepreneur, Diane von Furstenberg has been on the American fashion scene since the mid 1970s when she launched her first fashion coup, the wrap dress. Some five million were sold globally, attesting to the designer's ability to innovate. Throughout her career, she embarked on many other ventures, including home fashion products, fragrances and cosmetics, retail shops, and book publishing. Today, Diane von Furstenberg has reestablished her name in the fashion arena. Her collection is distributed worldwide through the finest specialty and department stores.
Diane von Furstenberg had established a prosperous beauty and fragrance business which was at its peak in the late 1970s and mid 1980s. After having launched her signature fragrance Tatiana. She went on to create Diane von Furstenberg The Color Authority, a color cosmetics line, and later launched a second fragrance, Volcan d'Amour. In 1984, von Furstenberg sold the business to Beecham Pharmaceuticals, which landed subsequently at Revlon. Ten years later, she repurchased her name in the beauty category.
