JPMorgan Technology Conference

MCLEAN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 6, 2002

Managed Objects today announced that Siki Giunta, the Business Service Management company's president and chief executive officer, will present at the JPMorgan Technology Conference on Monday, May 6th, 2002 at 11:20 a.m. (2:20 p.m. Eastern time).

Giunta will also be participating on a panel discussion titled "Systems Management: The Next New Thing" on May 6th 2002, beginning at 1:00 p.m. The conference will be held at the Westin St. Francis in San Francisco, California.

After providing an overview of Managed Objects, Giunta's presentation will focus on Business Service Management, an approach that, according to Giunta, "helps companies to understand the business impact of technology problems as they happen. It's a way to determine not only what's broken, but also what needs to be fixed first. Our customers have consistently found that this results in better service as well as reduced operational costs."

Business Service Management has gained wide acceptance among leading enterprises and analysts. In fact, Gartner Group expects that by 2004, 60% of companies will manage IT from this kind of business perspective.

The JPMorgan H&Q Technology Conference remains one of the premier conferences of its kind, highlighting the strongest growth stories. This year, JPMorgan H&Q expects more than 300 companies, both public and private, to deliver presentations to more than 4,500 investors during this four-day period.
