Data Mining Experts To Convene At SPSS Inc. Summit; Analytical CRM, Security and Text Mining Are Among Key Topics

Visionaries and experts in the data mining field will share their experience and insights at Data Mining Summit 2002, which will be held at the Hyatt Regency in Reston, Va., June 3-4. The Summit, which is being organized by SPSS Inc. (Nasdaq: SPSS) and includes among its sponsors Sun(R) Microsystems, will feature keynote addresses by data mining leaders and educational sessions showcasing data mining trends and technology.

Data Mining Summit 2002, which is the first of its kind in North America, includes four educational tracks covering data mining concepts and applications, increasing customer lifetime value, Web mining and public sector data mining applications. Session tracks include analytical CRM, Web site personalization, data visualization, detecting and preventing fraud, waste and abuse detection, homeland security and unlocking text information for data mining.
