United Plastics Group Expands Executive Leadership Team — Appoints Thomas S. Cho as Vice President of Program Management

United Plastics Group Inc. (UPG), a full service manufacturer of plastic products for the industrial, automotive, electronics, medical and consumer markets, today announced the appointment of Thomas S. Cho as vice president of program management.
Cho will be responsible for program management activities, including the development and implementation of new management systems and processes for UPG worldwide.
Cho has more than 10 years of program management experience in diverse industrial settings and brings with him a wealth of knowledge in strategic planning and processes including Six Sigma process control, automation, Just in Time (JIT) delivery and Material Resource Planning (MRO). Prior to joining UPG, Cho was the director of program management for Trend Technologies Inc. where he was responsible for managing and facilitating the successful launch of new programs on a worldwide basis. Prior to Trend Technologies, he was a program manager of power systems for Globalstar. In this position, Cho developed and implemented virtual manufacturing of power systems for the Globalstar constellation of 64 LEO satellites and developed worldwide command and control systems for program management, technical, quality and operational status.

Cho holds bachelor of science degrees in both international business and mechanical engineering from San Jose State University. He is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Korean.
