GreenPoint, Inc., the leading developer of the XML-enabled interactive web visualization solutions, announced today that Macromedia, Inc. has integrated WebCharts3D into Macromedia ColdFusion MX, which was announced on April 29. ColdFusion MX now offers enhanced charting capabilities based on the WebCharts3D technology.
Macromedia ColdFusion MX, the rapid server scripting environment for creating rich Internet applications, brings the proven ease of use and productivity of ColdFusion to the highly scalable, standards-based Java technology architecture. ColdFusion MX is built on a breakthrough new architecture that delivers the scalability, reliability, and power of the Java platform without the complexity.
GreenPoint's WebCharts3D delivers complex charts and graphs as Macromedia Flash content or interactive images in browsers and mobile devices. The proprietary GreenPoint technology, including caching, resource management, API emulation and font rendering, results in industry leading performance and enables WebCharts3D to serve the needs of the most demanding projects.
