WHAT:   Every election year, the California Center for Education in
        Public Affairs holds an Election Post-Mortem Conference,
        sponsored by Pepperdine University and the Jesse M. Unruh
        Institute of Politics at the University of Southern
        California. Distinguished guests, including political
        consultants and journalists, will participate in three panels:
        an elections overview panel, a gubernatorial panel and an
        issues and initiatives panel.

        Panelists will analyze the strategies, tactics and outcomes
        of the Nov. 5 election, as well as speculate as to how the
        results will impact California and the United States in the
        near term future.
