Avnet RF & Microwave Signs Global Distribution Agreement with Transcom Inc

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 18, 2002
Avnet RF & Microwave has signed a global distribution agreement with Tainan, Taiwan-based Transcom Inc.
Founded in 1998, Transcom's expertise is in design and mass production of high-performance GaAs devices for both high power and low noise applications. Standard processes include 0.25 um and 0.5 um PHEMT, HFET & MESFET.
In addition to GaAs FETs & MMICs, Transcom also has in-house design capability for sub-system development. Its amplifier products include standard 1-18 GHz and 6-18 GHz military wide band amplifiers, C-band and Ku-band medium- to high-power amplifiers. Gain modules are also available as stand-alone products. (Or "Discrete gain modules are also available.")
