DynTek and Florida Gulf Coast University Develop State of the Art Security Lab

DynTek, Inc. (Nasdaq: DYTK, DYTKP, DYTKW), a leading provider of technology and management solutions to the state and local government sector, today announced that the company has developed a security lab in partnership with Florida Gulf Coast University, College of Business, Center for Innovation and Leadership to conduct cyber security research and testing.

DynTek will utilize the lab to conduct research on leading security vendor products and services in order to identify verifiable best-in-breed partners to incorporate into the company's security offering. In addition, DynTek will use the lab to enhance its security offering through customized product development initiatives.
The lab consists of multiple, fully functioning networks outfitted with technology covering a wide range of operating systems, firewalls, intrusion detection applications and vulnerability products. The lab facilities are available to the public through DynTek's high-level security training program for internal auditors and security experts. The training program offers hands-on, real-time training on risk assessments, vulnerability testing, LAN/WAN security management and policy development. In addition, Florida Gulf Coast University professionally certifies all the courses DynTek offers.
