Adjoined Consulting to Extend Its Business Intelligence Practice
to Include Analytic Applications From Business Objects
Business Objects (Nasdaq:BOBJ), the world's leading provider of business intelligence (BI) solutions, and Adjoined Consulting, a leading management consulting firm that specializes in collaborative supply chain solutions, today announced an enhanced partnership and reseller agreement that includes BusinessObjects(TM) Analytics, the suite of integrated enterprise analytic applications from Business Objects. With this agreement, Adjoined Consulting customers will now have access to the entire suite of solutions from Business Objects -- from data integration to analytic applications.
With packaged analytic applications covering customers, products, services, operations, and all facets of the supply chain, Business Objects provides industry-leading business intelligence solutions designed to meet the varied needs of Adjoined Consulting customers in diverse vertical markets including food and beverage, pharmaceutical, consumer goods, and industrial supply industry sub-segments. In addition, Adjoined Consulting customers can now take advantage of BusinessObjects Application Foundation, a complete framework for the rapid delivery of powerful analytic applications and management dashboards, to build custom analytic applications to meet the very specific needs of their business.
As part of the enhanced relationship, Adjoined Consulting will now use BusinessObjects(TM) Application Foundation as the base framework for its Supply Chain Management Outsourcing (SCMO) suite of products and services. Adjoined's patent pending SCMO solution allows companies to outsource the development, analysis, interpretation, and management of critical supply chain diagnostic data in an effort to optimize major events within their supply chain such as inventory velocity, mix, profile and throughput, facilities footprint, customer fulfillment, transportation, and inter-enterprise supply chain collaboration. Adjoined employs the SCMO solution to extract supply chain transactional information from one or more entities within the client's supply chain, and then mines, filters, analyzes, and presents that data back to the clients with specific recommendations so as to optimize supply chain competencies and reduce supply chain costs.
"We have seen a dramatic increase in the number of companies looking to implement business intelligence solutions to improve profitability and business decision-making," said Rodney Rogers, CEO of Adjoined Consulting. "Based on our success with the core business intelligence solutions from Business Objects, we moved quickly to expand our BI practice to include analytic applications -- a market that continues to grow rapidly. BusinessObjects Application Foundation is the perfect framework to build and deliver our SCMO solutions. This build and buy approach to analytic applications from Business Objects provides our customers with a flexible solution to meet all their business intelligence needs."
"Companies in vertical markets have very specific needs when it comes to implementing business intelligence, and the combination of Adjoined Consulting's knowledge of these markets with analytic applications from Business Objects provides a powerful solution," said Jill Henry, director of strategic alliances at Business Objects. "By extending its BI practice to include our analytic applications, Adjoined Consulting can now offer companies the complete Business Objects solution and serve as a one-stop shop for their customers' business intelligence needs."
