Three Finalists Selected for The American Music Awards Presents The Coca-Cola New Music Award At CMJ Music Marathon

Tonight, Honeycomb (New York, NY), Moe Loughran (Nashville, TN) and Terell (Jamesburg, NJ) stole the show in front of a packed crowd at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City and were named the top three Finalists for the 2nd Annual "The American Music Awards(R) Presents The Coca-Cola New Music Award".

Ten unsigned artists/bands from across the country took the stage at the CMJ Music Marathon and performed single song sets that were judged by music industry influencers which included: Nina Blackwood, the first MTV VJ and host of several popular syndicated radio programs, Bobby Haber, CMJ Network Founder and CEO, and local New York DJ Darren DeVivo of WFUV-FM. The three Finalists will perform in one final event on January 10, 2003 in Los Angeles to win the opportunity to perform live on the ABC-TV telecast of The American Music Awards, January 13, 2003.
