Jodi Hodak, ABC, Honored as Dallas/IABC 2001-2002 Communicator of the Year

The Dallas chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators has named Jodi Hodak, ABC, its 2001-2002 Communicator of the Year (COTY). Hodak is the 31st award recipient.
As president of WriteAway Communications, Hodak provides full-service consulting for several corporate clients, particularly in the areas of marketing and employee communication. In 2001, she received certification as a Woman Business Owner from the Women's Business Economic Council.
Hodak is currently serving as treasurer on the Dallas/IABC Board of Directors. She is an Accredited Business Communicator (ABC), a professional certification administered by IABC. She has been a recipient of Bronze Quill awards from Dallas/IABC and Addy Awards from the Press Club of Dallas. She is a Cum Laude graduate of California State University at Northridge, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Writing.
A panel of independent judges selected Hodak based on the quality of her work samples, her service to IABC and related accomplishments.
