Feldman Joins Avenue Pictures

Page Feldman has been named Director of Development for Avenue Pictures, it was announced today by Cary Brokaw, President and CEO of Avenue Entertainment Group (OTCBB:PIXG).
Feldman will be active in all aspects of the company's development of feature films as well as cable and television movies. She will report directly to Brokaw. Brokaw commented: "With her extensive production background, Page brings a strong and pragmatic approach to our development efforts."
Prior to joining Avenue Pictures, Feldman produced the "Murder in Small Town X" series for Fox Television. She previously produced three seasons of the MTV hit series "Undressed" which was Executive Produced by Roland Joffe. Feldman has also worked in various producing capacities on such motion pictures as "The Rainmaker", "The Ghost and the Darkness", "Steal Big, Steal Little", "Hellraiser IV", and "Sleepless in Seattle".
Avenue Pictures is in production on ANGELS IN AMERICA, based on Tony Kushner's Pulitzer Prize winning plays which is HBO's epic six hour film event directed by Mike Nichols, produced by Brokaw, and starring Al Pacino, Meryl Streep, Emma Thompson, Jeffrey Wright and Mary Louise Parker, Justin Kirk, Patrick Wilson and Ben Shenkman.
Avenue is in post-production on MINDHUNTERS which is co-financed by Dimension Films and Intermedia Films and co-produced by Outlaw Films. The thriller, directed by Renny Harlin, concerns a serial killer amidst the most elite unit of the FBI. MINDHUNTERS stars LL Cool J, Val Kilmer, Christian Slater and Kathryn Morris. Dimension Films plans an April release date.
Avenue is also in post-production on NORMAL for HBO films which is written and directed by Jane Anderson and executive produced by Brokaw. NORMAL stars Jessica Lang and Tom Wilkinson. The film will premiere in February on HBO.
Avenue and Brokaw previously produced PATH TO WAR for HBO which was directed by the late John Frankenheimer and starred Michael Gambon, Alec Baldwin and Donald Southerland. The film received eight Emmy nominations including Outstanding Made for Television Movie. Avenue and Brokaw have previously produced such motion pictures as the Emmy Award winning "Wit," "The Player," "Drugstore Cowboy," "Short Cuts," and "Restoration."
