OAKLAND, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 6, 2002
BART will provide longer trains for the November 8 and 9 (PacBell Park) and November 12 (Oakland Coliseum) "Rolling Stones Licks World Tour" concerts. After the concerts, additional BART trains will be kept on standby to help handle the anticipated crowds.
On Friday, November 8 and Saturday, November 9, BART personnel will be selling regular BART tickets from tables at the Dublin/Pleasanton and Colma BART Stations. For the concert scheduled for Tuesday, November 12 at the Oakland Coliseum, regular BART tickets will be sold at the Dublin/Pleasanton station. BART urges those going to the concert to purchase round trip tickets to avoid the long lines at the ticket machines.
There will be no direct service from the Coliseum BART Station to Pittsburg/Bay Point. Passengers with destinations on the Pittsburg/Bay Point line should transfer at the 12th Street or MacArthur BART Stations.
For additional train and fare information, call 510/465-BART, 817-1717 from any area code, or the toll-free number listed in local telephone directories.
