Native Los Angelinos and second-generation entertainment industry professionals Christian Struzan and Matthew Cramer have joined forces to create XL Laboratories, Inc., a print creative boutique catering specifically to motion picture advertising. The facility, located in North Hollywood, is fully staffed in-house, making it a one-stop-shop for all creative print needs.

Struzan previously spent five years with New Wave Entertainment (NWE), most recently as Vice President and Creative Director. At NWE he developed campaigns for film projects such as "Rush Hour," "South Park," "Bigger Longer and Uncut," "Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels," "Blow," "The Man Who Wasn't There," "Not Another Teen Movie," "Ice Age" and "Mr. Deeds." During his tenure, Struzan's creative team received Hollywood Reporter Key Art Awards for "Final Destination," "Bride of Chucky," "Fight Club" and "TigerLand." Struzan has over fifteen years of experience in motion picture advertising.

Before co-founding XL Laboratories, Cramer was Director of Print and Online Advertising for the United Paramount Network. Prior to that, he was at Columbia Pictures for seven years, most recently as Director, Creative Advertising. While at Columbia, Cramer was part of the creative team that successfully marketed "Jerry Maguire," "Donnie Brasco," "Men in Black," "Air Force One" and "As Good As It Gets" during the company's then record setting year of 1997. Other noteworthy films he helped devise campaigns for are "8MM," "GO," "Hollow Man," "Finding Forrester," "Not Another Teen Movie" and "ALI."

Christian Struzan is the son of Drew Struzan, best known for his key art depictions of all five of George Lucas' "Star Wars" films and most recently his artwork on "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone." Matthew Cramer is the son of the late well-known 1970's Playboy Magazine Editor, Rick Cramer who also founded Four Way Communications, Inc., a custom publishing house. Four Way Communications was responsible for producing the program books for Comic Relief and the Playboy Jazz Festival.
