Synertech Adds 20,000-Member Health Plan Focused On Growing Senior Market

Synertech(R), a Platinum Equity company that is a premier application services provider and business process outsourcer to the health care payer industry, today announced that Olympic Health Management Systems Inc., Bellingham, Wash., is the company's newest ASP customer.
Under terms of the agreement, Synertech will host the QMACS claims processing platform, as well as several third-party package add-ons, in its Harrisburg data center. Olympic will remotely access the systems from its Washington headquarters. In addition, Synertech will image and archive claims for Olympic and provide implementation services and ongoing maintenance and support.
Olympic Health Management Systems is the administrative services provider for products related to Medicare for a number of national insurers, including its sister companies, Sterling Life Insurance Co. and Combined Insurance Co. of America. Olympic is Synertech's first customer to exclusively focus on the Medicare niche of the health care payer industry.
