HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 10, 2002
Bradmark Technologies Inc., an established provider of data management solutions, today announced a strategic partnership with Pennsylvania-based QBVentures Inc. QBVentures provides add-on products and consulting services for Lucent Technologies' VitalQIP product. VitalQIP is the premier IP management system for managing the IP address infrastructure, DNS and DHCP for large corporate intranets and service provider networks.
"We are convinced that this partnership is a good match for both organizations," said Brad Tashenberg, Bradmark chairman and CEO. "QBVentures puts customer satisfaction above all else. By carefully selecting the products in their portfolio to be sure that each offering is best of breed, QBVentures helps customers to maximize efficiency, lower costs and gain the most from their investment. QBVentures has built an organization of the highest caliber personnel and we are excited about the opportunity to partner with them."
Now, QBVentures will be adding Bradmark's NORAD Surveillance IP to their portfolio. NORAD Surveillance IP is the most accomplished product monitoring VitalQIP Enterprise Server as well as DNS and DHCP servers. Service disruptions are minimized because NORAD restarts all QIP related processes and services as well as posting alerts. The existing customer investment in homegrown scripts can easily be incorporated into the NORAD management framework. Interfaces to HP OpenView and Tivoli ensure Network Management personnel are kept informed.
"This is a real win-win product," says Malcolm Hayward, CEO of QBVentures. "Since VitalQIP is such a mission critical product it is imperative that effective monitoring tools be available. In their absence many customers had to write their own. Bradmark's database and systems software expertise have combined in NORAD Surveillance IP to ensure VitalQIP operates at an optimum service level."
