Young Stars of TV, Film and Music Perform Holiday Classics and Originals Exclusively for ``School's Out! Christmas''

Today's brightest young television, movie and music stars offer their own gift this holiday season with a compilation of new recordings of Christmas classics and contemporary originals. Christmas albums are almost always recorded by adults. The 20-selection "School's Out! Christmas" (Hip-O Records), released October 29, 2002, is a Christmas album by today's teens for today's teens.
The album's budding pop stars are Myra, whose "Miracles Happen" was the featured song in "The Princess Diaries," with "Christmas Isn't Christmas (Since You Said Goodbye)" and "Very First Christmas Love"; Knockout with "Voice Of An Angel"; and Chris Trousdale of boy band Dream Street and star of the upcoming "The Biggest Fan," with "Kissless Christmas" and "Wild Christmas."

-- Lynsey Bartilson, Lily on "Grounded For Life," who sang in the TV movie "Mrs. Santa Claus," with "Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree" and "This Christmas I Will Give My Love To You," -- Daveigh Chase, the voice of Lilo in "Lilo And Stitch," with the Burl Ives perennial "A Holly Jolly Christmas," -- Arvie Lowe Jr., Mr. Dig on "Lizzie McGuire" and member of SoCal band Rayzing Sons, with "This Christmas I Want To Be Close To You," -- Taylor Momsen, Cindy Lou Who in "How The Grinch Stole Christmas," and star of "Spy Kids 2: Island Of Lost Dreams" and the new "Hansel & Gretel," with "Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer," -- Tahj Mowry, younger brother of "Sister Sister" twins Tia and Tamera, and former star of "Full House" and "Smart Guy," with "Shine Your Light On Me," -- Raven, whose "That's So Raven" Disney Channel series premieres in January, has starred in the "Cosby Show," "Hangin' With Mr. Cooper" and both "Doctor Dolittle" films, and released two albums, with "My Christmas Wish" and "My Christmas Dream," -- Ashlee Simpson, "7th Heaven" regular and younger sister of pop star Jessica, with "Christmas Past, Present And Future," -- Mae Whitman, Grace on "State Of Grace," with the Bing Crosby perennial "I Heard The Bells On Christmas Day" and "You Make Christmas Feel So Good," -- Camille Winbush, Vanessa on "The Bernie Mac Show" and who sang in Disney's TV musical "Geppetto," with "The Night Before Christmas Song," and -- Evan Rachel Wood, Jessie on TV's "Once And Again" and star of the recently released "Simone" and "Little Secrets," with "Christmas Isn't Christmas Without You" and "Silver And Gold."
