Frontier JetExpress Discontinues Service to St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, Mo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 11, 2002

Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq:FRNT) and Phoenix-based Mesa Air Group (Nasdaq:MESA), operating as Frontier JetExpress, today announced it will no longer serve Lambert-St. Louis International Airport (STL), effective Oct. 22, 2002.

Frontier JetExpress currently offers service between STL and Denver International Airport (DEN). Frontier will begin contacting those passengers who are affected by the discontinuation of service to/from St. Louis to assist in re-accommodating them.

Frontier Airlines' Vice President of Marketing and Planning Sean Menke stated: "Frontier JetExpress introduced service to St. Louis on April 7 of this year, and unfortunately, the market has not demonstrated sufficient demand. As a result, the difficult decision was made to discontinue St. Louis service."
