BELLEVUE, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 16, 2002

Keylogix International Limited, Software Developer, today announced it will deliver a Tablet PC version of its ActiveDocs(TM) software simultaneously with the release of Microsoft's Tablet PC operating system. Keylogix will participate with Microsoft at the US launch event in New York on 7 November.

This new application, ActiveDocs for Tablet PC, is being built specifically for information workers who conduct most of their day-to-day business away from their desktops. Using ActiveDocs in conjunction with a Tablet PC and Microsoft Office XP, handwritten or "ink" responses can be instantly transformed into highly accurate, professional documents. Designed with pen-based interactions in mind, this application delivers a user interface that is easy to navigate without the use of a mouse or keyboard. The application extends ActiveDocs 2002 document automation functionality and shows that the Tablet PC can be used to do more than just draw or have handwriting converted to text.

"The Tablet PC gives unprecedented capabilities to the mobile computer user and Microsoft's new operating system is making this possible," said Dot Johnstone, Chief Technology Officer for Keylogix. "With over 10 years software development experience in the document automation area, and a solid history of developing applications for Microsoft's new systems, we are pleased to be introducing ActiveDocs for Tablet PC; an ideal software application designed to take advantage of the unique features of the Tablet PC."

Designed to support and encourage the adoption of the Tablet PC, ActiveDocs for Tablet PC is an extendable end-user toolset written to enable information workers to customise their own document automation requirements -- without the need to engage software developers. This new application is the result of Keylogix strategy to meet the document creation needs of mobile information workers.
