LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 22, 2002

"Homies" Video Added to Much Music USA's Top Rated Show "Oven Fresh"

The devotion of Insane Clown Posse's rabid fans cannot be denied. At a recent Haunted House appearance in Boston, 30,000 kids showed up to see their favorite guys, Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope in person. No autographs were signed, no songs were sung, but eager fans walked away with a sampler CD, a teaser from the upcoming and much anticipated album "The Wraith: Shangri-La." Also known as "The Sixth Joker's Card" the new album comes in two Limited Edition packages. One album features a bonus DVD of live concert footage, while the other album features a bonus DVD containing documentary footage from the 2002 Gathering of the Juggalos. No doubt a true Juggalo (ICP fan) will have to collect both.

In addition to the Haunted House appearances ICP are making across the country, on November 4th and 5th seventeen release parties will be held across the country, featuring a member of the Psychopathic Records roster hosting at each party. Insane Clown Posse themselves will host 2 parties on Nov. 4th and 5th in Boston and Los Angeles, respectively. Both dates are sold out.

While ICP trek cross-country, a grass roots approach has been taken to raise awareness where the fans truly live: the Internet. Net Music Promotions has developed a small arsenal of e-marketing tools, like the Insane Clown Posse viral e-card (http://ecards.netmusicpromotions.com/icp) which was launched just one week ago and has already been sent to over 20,000 potential consumers. Insane Clown Posse's official Online Street Team (http://join.netmusicpromotions.com/?aid=11) launched at the same time and already has over 5,000 members who are actively working to promote the album online and in the streets. As a result, "The Wraith: Shangri-La" is the #3 most pre-ordered album on BestBuy.com, outpacing Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake and the new Eminem Soundtrack.

The Juggalos don't stop there. Recently, WGRD, a Grand Rapids, MI radio station, played the single "Homies" and lit up the phones. Says the Program Director Bobby Duncan, "I heard a dull thud during `Band to Band Combat' last week -- turns out it was the phones exploding with calls for ICP!" "Homies" has been #1 phones at that station for 3 weeks running. Gina Juliano, the Program Director of WARQ in South Carolina, said, "Start the record after 8pm for your younger listeners -- within 8 spins the song is #1 Phones!" In addition, the "Homies" single and video is currently featured in promotions with Yahoo/Launch, AOL, ArtistDirect, Grokster, Radiostorm.com, Listen/Rhapsody, MusicMatch and Apple/Quicktime. Last, but certainly not least, "Homies" has been added to Much Music USA's top rated show "Oven Fresh," where fans can vote on their favorite videos.
