RALEIGH, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 29, 2002
Invensys Powerware, a leading global provider of Strategic Power Management(R) solutions, sets a new standard in power reliability and cost-effectiveness with the debut of the Powerware(R) 9335.
The Powerware 9335 is a true, double conversion, online UPS for business critical applications from 80 to 120 kVA. With its unique transformerless design, the Powerware 9335 is the answer to customer demands for cost-savings and high reliability. Efficient not only operationally--the 9335's low weight reduces shipping costs while its small footprint reduces fixed costs. These attributes, combined with Powerware's legendary robustness, make the Powerware 9335 perfectly suited for data centers, server farms, networking, telecom and medical applications.
The new Powerware 9335 expands our High 9's PowerTrain(TM) solution offering which seamlessly integrates a full range of products including UPS, transient voltage surge suppression (TVSS), static transfer switches (STS), power distribution units (PDU), batteries, flywheels and emergency generators.
The Powerware 9335 UPS is the most dependable mid-range three-phase system option on the market:
-- Powerware's patented Hot Sync(R) technology and a fault tolerant, true double conversion design, ensure that today's ever-more critical systems achieve continuous uptime. -- Advanced design features low input and output harmonic distortion (requiring no additional filters) and excellent dynamic performance, available at a low cost per kVA. -- Powerware's "X-Slot" - provides multiple communications and connectivity options including the popular ConnectUPS-X SNMP/Web card for real-time UPS status from any standard web browser. -- Innovative features and options include extended battery runtime and flexible monitoring capabilities. -- Start-up and commissioning and one year warranty included in base price.
"The Powerware 9335 fills a critical market need for a reliable and value-optimized mid-range three phase power solution," said Darrick Finan, director of product management, Invensys Powerware. "Its second-generation, transformerless, full double conversion design makes the Powerware 9335 an excellent choice for anyone desiring to maximize performance at the lowest cost."
The Powerware 9335 is backed by the most comprehensive service plan in the industry. In addition to start-up and one year system warranty, our optional service offerings include remote enterprise monitoring, multi-vendor service, and 24x7 corrective maintenance; ensuring a high-availability, quality power system to support business applications.
To further protect critical business applications, Powerware offers full service options for preventative, routine, and corrective maintenance, as well as 24x7 remote monitoring services. This added layer of assurance provides total system health to the IT or facilities manager.
The Powerware 9335 will be available in September, starting at $17,000. For more information on the complete line of Powerware's Strategic Power Management products and service, please visit www.powerware.com.
