(NASDAQ:LGTO), a worldwide leader in enterprise content and information management software, today announced their certification of LEGATO DiskXtender and the NetApp NearStore product family. The integration provides joint data management solutions that simplify and automate data lifecycle management deployed online. The joint solution also enables customers to use their primary storage more efficiently through a highly scalable, cost-effective tool that manages data across multiple platforms.

The combination of DiskXtender and NearStore enables customers to easily migrate infrequently accessed data residing on Windows(R), UNIX(R), and Linux(R) platforms to a NearStore system. The migrated data then can be quickly and automatically restored upon access by users or applications.
