Delta Air Lines Chief Learning Officer Delivers Keynote Speech At Pathlore's Annual User Conference; Conference Highlights Latest Technology and Trends in Corporate Training

Pathlore, a leading provider of learning management system (LMS) software and services, today announced that its annual users' conference -- PathLearn 2002 -- will be held Nov. 4-6 at the Orlando, Fla., Hilton in the Walt Disney World Resort.
Pathlore customers and training professionals attending the conference will learn how today's leading companies use the Columbus, Ohio-based firm's LMS software and services to retain employees, increase sales effectiveness, and comply with government regulations.
Bill Kline, chief learning officer and vice president of human resources for Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL), will kick off PathLearn with a keynote presentation titled, "Building a Learning Capability in a Changing Business Environment." Kline's remarks, in part, describe how Delta uses Pathlore LMS to educate its more than 65,000 employees around the world. To further improve performance on the job, Delta has used its LMS to educate its work force about the company's financial workings as well as the intricacies of the airline industry.
In addition, attendees will enjoy more than 30 interactive sessions that include a variety of case studies, how-to sessions and workshops. Speakers will highlight the many ways they're using LMSs to adhere to quality initiatives and launch enterprise-wide systems. Other sessions offer tricks and tips for supercharging Pathlore's software. Presenters include Pathlore customers Arizona State University, HIP Health Plan of New York, Maricopa County, Ariz., Meijer Inc., MeritCare Health System, NEC America Inc., PNC Bank and Southwest Airlines Co., as well as Pathlore experts and executives.
At the three-day event in Orlando, attendees will exchange ideas on topics including LMS trends, e-Learning ROI, regulatory standards and compliance, training gaps and tracking, authoring tools, and virtual classrooms. Customers and partners will also participate in live product demonstrations and will have the opportunity to see and test the latest innovations and features of Pathlore LMS.
