WHY: To encourage careers in the music business, GRAMMY In The
Schools provides high school students an opportunity to
interact with music industry professionals in educational
settings throughout the country. Each GRAMMY In The Schools
program features an informative Super Panel comprised of top
recording and music industry professionals interacting with
high school students. To make the day more substantive and
thought-provoking for the students at Huntington Park High
School, each participant received a survey and an online
exercise on music downloading prior to the event. As a thank
you for the students' participation, the GRAMMY Foundation
will have a drawing for two tickets to the 3rd Annual Latin
GRAMMY Awards.
