On Wednesday, September 18th, the Partnership for Public Service (www.ourpublicservice.org) and Monster(R), the leading global online careers property (www.monster.com), will announce details of a new collaboration designed to encourage talented young people to work for the federal government.
After the announcement, E.J. Dionne, columnist for the Washington Post and a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, will lead a roundtable of national leaders in business, government and the non-profit sector as they discuss the recruitment challenges facing government, especially the new Department of Homeland Security, and the importance of empowering a new generation of job seekers to consider employment in the public sector.
Entitled "Recruiting Top Talent for the New Department of Homeland Security: A Blueprint for Government," the event will be held Wednesday, September 18th at 10:30 a.m. in Washington, D.C. Details follow.
