Enhanced Service Offers Business Teams a Better
Way to Work Together With Easy-to-Use and Affordable
Sales and Project Management Features
Continuing its commitment to offering customers easy-to-use, affordable business solutions, Intuit Inc. (NASDAQ:INTU) today introduced key new features for its acclaimed Intuit(R) QuickBase(R) for Corporate Workgroups service. The service helps business teams manage people, projects and information more effectively with Web-based business applications. With this release, QuickBase for Corporate Workgroups offers a new Sales Manager application to help sales teams better manage opportunities from lead to close. The service now also offers enhanced project management capabilities to help facilitate document management, reporting, and sharing within teams. This release of QuickBase for Corporate Workgroups is available today at www.quickbase.com.
Sales Manager
"Our customers have let us know that managing sales is critical to their success and that their technology investments in this challenging economy must provide instant results and immediate ROI," said Jill Ward, vice president and general manager, QuickBase. "With the new Sales Manager application, sales teams have a real-time visibility of opportunities - and can act on them faster. And as always, QuickBase for Corporate Workgroups offers hassle-free start-up without the big price tags typically associated with sales applications."
Sales Manager offers a single, consolidated view of sales opportunities, customer contact information and activities to help sales teams stay better coordinated. As a Web-based service, QuickBase for Corporate Workgroups is available anytime, anywhere - offering real-time access and update capabilities to mobile sales professionals. And, sales managers can instantly access up-to-the minute snapshots of their sales pipelines to evaluate sales rep performance and to better forecast sales opportunities.
Customers agree that QuickBase streamlines sales management. "With QuickBase for Corporate Workgroups, my sales team can make updates anytime, from any location, saving me the trouble of manually entering and consolidating data. This alone significantly reduces the inaccuracies that resulted from our old system, where too many hands were entering and adjusting important sales information," said Teresa McGuire, business systems analyst, Fleet Insurance Services(1).
Pain-Free Project Management
QuickBase for Corporate Workgroups now further simplifies project management with improved document management and reporting functionality. Accidental overwrites to project documents are eliminated with a new "reserve" feature that puts a hold on a document while it is being updated. In addition, teams can now store previous versions of documents in one central and easy-to-access place for future use.
A new charting feature offers users the ability to instantly create bar, pie or line charts directly from QuickBase for on-demand requests for visuals. This allows users to quickly create graphical representations of data without opening additional applications or exporting information.
Giving Business Teams a Better Way to Work Together
At its core, QuickBase for Corporate Workgroups offers business teams many Web-shareable business solutions - including sales management, project management and more - at an affordable price. All solutions built on the flexible and powerful QuickBase platform can be configured to each team's unique needs. And, for further customization, teams can even build custom QuickBases completely from scratch.
