With the scaffolding removed and construction fencing now obsolete, Feather Falls Casino is holding the Grand Opening of its new $25 million casino expansion on Wednesday, September 18, 2002 at 6:00 p.m. In addition to the spacious gaming floor offering an array of slot machine and table games, the 65,000 square feet expansion includes a new 250-seat buffet, an entertainment lounge, banquet facilities, a glass elevator and executive offices.
"The excitement has been building for months regarding the completion and the Grand Opening," said Steve Kenny, marketing director of Feather Falls Casino. "We are ready and energized to share the new Casino with the public."
A special performance by Wynonna kicked-off the Grand Opening week this past Saturday, with additional Grand Opening festivities to continue on Wednesday that will include a private ceremony for invited guests and media, a blessing and ribbon cutting, speeches from local dignitaries and a public celebration party.
"Interesting details can be found in nearly every inch of the impressive addition," said Kenny. "It is truly an entertainment destination far exceeding anything anyone has seen in Northern California."
