This Thursday afternoon, Sept. 19, 2002, a group of power industry representatives will be available to preview their scheduled presentations the following day (Friday) to the U.S. Department of Energy's Electricity Advisory Board, which is reviewing a variety of complementary initiatives to enhance stakeholder confidence in the competitive energy business.

The briefing will include a discussion of details of a newly created code of ethics for power suppliers and traders.

Among the participants in the briefing, coming on the heels of a turbulent year for the power supply industry, will be representatives from the Electric Power Supply Association (EPSA), the Edison Electric Institute (EEI), the National Energy Marketers Association (NEM) and the Committee of Chief Risk Officers (CCRO).
