Electronics For Imaging (NASDAQ:EFII), has announced that ABN AMRO Bank N.V in India is offering new wireless and email services to its credit card customers using the advanced Unimobile messaging platform.
Unimobile's technology gives ABN AMRO's credit card customers Active Alerts, an innovative feature that keeps cardholders informed by e-mail / mobile phone (SMS) of vital card transactions. With this offering, EFI(TM) significantly extends its presence in the financial services market as the premier mobile messaging platform provider.
The Unimobile solution delivers secure and reliable Active Alerts to ABN AMRO credit card customers, providing them with up-to-minute information on transactions such as Risk Alerts informing them of multiple purchases and Maintenance Alerts when they are nearing their card limit. These Interactive alerts, which help customers monitor expenditure, are delivered instantly through Unimobile's powerful platform to cell phones, pagers, Personal Digital Assistants (PDA) and email accounts.
Unimobile technology is integrated into the bank's infrastructure, giving ABN AMRO Bank the ability to independently create new applications to further enhance customer service. Additionally, Unimobile's Mobile Messaging Platform (MMP) gives the Bank the ability to customise and control the interactive alerts for each customer.
