CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 18, 2002
ATG (Art Technology Group, Inc., Nasdaq: ARTG), a leading developer of online CRM applications for commerce, portals and relationship management, today announced that Nintendo of Europe has leveraged ATG to deliver a unified Web site, developed by Blast Radius, featuring personalized and localized sites for the company's pan-European Web properties. Utilizing the ATG Relationship Management Platform for the sites, Nintendo of Europe is now able to better manage and evaluate pan-European customer loyalty and Web-based marketing initiatives, while maintaining and enhancing equity for the Nintendo brand across the region.
The new site, www.nintendo-europe.com, serves as the hub where customers can access the latest Nintendo game reports, news, tips, tricks and screenshots, Nintendo GameCube and Game Boy Advance, as well as join online community forums for the latest gaming strategies.
"We had several European Web sites which needed to be unified from a strategic point of view and two important markets which were as yet uncovered," said Marko Hein, European Product Manager of Nintendo of Europe. "Selecting ATG was the best choice and resulted in Nintendo now having a single, unified platform for consolidating our European Web properties. The launch of the new site is helping us to better serve our customers and encourage their loyalty to the Nintendo brand."
Speed of implementation also was a critical success factor for the site launch. The flexibility of the ATG Relationship Management Platform enabled Blast Radius to easily integrate the new sites it built with existing systems, lowering the cost and time of deploying the sites. Blast Radius' Amsterdam office led the implementation and development of the pan-European project. Blast Radius is an ATG value added reseller and system integrator that delivers high-impact solutions for automating marketing, sales and customer service.
"ATG's Relationship Management platform provides unified development, while enabling local experts to tailor campaigns and manage programs for maximum results," said Hein. "The capabilities of the platform and the high-performance Web site will help position Nintendo as the gaming brand across Europe, while providing a manageable and cost-effective solution for strengthening the company's customer relationships."
