NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 18, 2002
FIND/SVP, Inc. (OTCBB: FSVP) today announced a new customized business research and advisory service aimed at the small business market, and also reported the signing of its first two corporate clients.
Both Verizon Information Services, a unit of Verizon Communications (NYSE: VZ) and PB Direct, a division of Pitney Bowes Inc. (NYSE: PBI) will offer FIND/SVP's "Ask the Business Specialist" services to their small business customers. The agreements are a part of both companies' service offerings -- designed to assist their extensive small business customer base.
"We are excited that both Verizon and Pitney Bowes have selected FIND/SVP's research and advisory services as a way to enhance the value proposition to their small business customers," said David M. Walke, Chief Executive Officer of FIND/SVP. "This is a significant business opportunity that demonstrates our ability to offer high value products and services that capitalize on FIND/SVP's knowledge assets, while tapping into potentially lucrative new distribution channels."
The "Ask the Business Specialist" program can help small business customers capitalize on industry trends, gain access to government resources and address virtually any critical business question. The program, available to Pitney Bowes and Verizon Information Services' small business customers for an annual fee, enables the subscriber to ask nearly any business question via email and get a brief customized answer from a human professional by the next business day.
To illustrate how the service will be deployed in a marketing initiative, Pitney Bowes will feature "Ask The Business Specialist" as part of its "Pitney Perks" program, which will be marketed to certain of its close to one million small business customers.
"We're particularly excited by the revenue potential of these programs, as moderate market penetration should yield significant results for FIND/SVP," Mr. Walke added.
The "Ask the Business Specialist" program is a customized online version of FIND/SVP's broader service offering which provides expert business answers and advisory services through an international network of experienced research and industry consultants. FIND/SVP's Quick Consulting Service (QCS) is the only live person-to-person service designed for executives who need fast, accurate and quality answers to critical business issues.
FIND/SVP's Strategic Consulting Group helps clients gain a competitive advantage through in-depth research and consulting assignments such as market and industry profiles, benchmarking surveys and technology assessments.
