YONKERS, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 24, 2002

Voyetra, the number one publisher of music software in 2001(a), today announced that it has begun shipping its Ultimate MP3 and CD Manager -- a new software product featuring AudioStation(R) 6.0 that provides everything needed to create, manage and enjoy a PC digital music library and Internet Radio.

"Digital music can be complicated, especially when trying to manage ripping, burning, tagging, and archiving," said Dominic Pagnozzi, Vice-President of Sales, for Voyetra. "Whether someone is new to digital music or already has a huge MP3 collection, the Ultimate MP3 and CD Manager simplifies their ability to enjoy their music collection."

The Ultimate MP3 and CD Manager has four main components: creating, organizing, listening to, and preparing digital music for playback on other devices.

The encoding and organizing process is automated, allowing a user to "rip" CDs into MP3s for convenient listening on a computer or portable device. With AudioStation's MP3 or Windows Media(TM) compression modes, thousands of songs can be stored on a typical hard drive. In addition, the AutoGain(TM) feature automatically corrects variations in volume levels on songs recorded from different CDs to maintain a consistent listening experience.

AudioStation's drag and drop retagging feature (ID3v1 and v2) makes it possible to easily reclassify hundreds of music files with a few simple mouse clicks. Music can be sorted and retagged by artist, genre, album, title, and song length.

When using AudioStation to play back digital media, users can enjoy their favorite songs without the frustration of searching through piles of CDs. In addition, Internet Radio and digital downloads in Windows Media and MP3 formats can be instantly accessed from AudioStation's music library panel. The TurtleRadio(TM) web portal allows users to easily access, manage and playback Internet Radio broadcasts from around the world.

When used in combination with a CD-R drive, the software can create standard audio CDs. The data recording mode allows the user to fit more than 150 compressed audio songs on a CD, playable by the latest generation of MP3 CD and DVD players. Digital music files can even be transferred directly from AudioStation to supported portable music players.

AudioStation's minimum system requirements are a Pentium-class 233MHz, Windows 98/ME/2000/XP, 64MB RAM, 16X CD-ROM and a 16-bit sound card (Turtle Beach Santa Cruz recommended). A microphone is required for recording custom samples and a CD-R is needed for burning features.
