NORWELL, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 24, 2002

A one-day forum, Narrowcasting New York 2002 - Opportunities for Advertisers and Retailers, will take place November 21, 2002 at the Hilton New York to educate brand managers and retailers about narrowcasting technologies and networked displays to reach and interact with their customers.

"CAP Ventures' Narrowcasting Forum is being sponsored by six of the most influential vendors in the hottest new advertising medium" said Jeff Hayes, Director at CAP Ventures, Inc. "This one-day, power-packed agenda has been designed to give attendees the opportunity to hear from industry leaders, see technology implementations, and interact with existing users."

The program will include feature presentations from ActiveLight, Clarity Visual Systems, CoolSign by Adspace Networks, Premier Retail Networks (PRN), Scala, and Visual Circuits. In addition, interactive panel discussions on systems implementation, network operators and technology innovators, as well as case studies, will be highlighted.

"The use of in-store media is growing rapidly. Leading national retailers now use digital media to enhance their store environment, increase customer loyalty and build business. Advertisers are capitalizing on the trend by using in-store networks to communicate with consumers in ways never before imagined. If you are a marketer who needs to stay ahead of the curve, and the competition at retail, then this event is for you," said Mark Mitchell, Executive Vice President, PRN.

"We are eager to participate in the Narrowcasting Forum in New York. This event will help build the knowledge of what this medium can do for retailers and in-store communications," said Steve Smith, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Visual Circuits.

"AdSpace Networks is delighted to be a part of the New York forum and have the opportunity to share with the retail and advertising communities the power that media networking technologies like CoolSign can bring them," said Lou Giacalone, Jr., Executive VP & Founder, AdSpace Networks, Inc. "We think these events serve in educating customers and vendors alike in this nascent marketplace."
