Accelent(R) Systems Inc., a leading enabler of embedded devices and Gold-level member of Microsoft(R) Corporation's Windows(R) Embedded Partner Program, announces that its IDP(TM) -- Integrated Development Platform based on the Intel(R) PXA250 processor and operated by Microsoft Windows CE.NET, now supports the Intel(R) VTune(TM) Performance Analyzer. The analyzer was developed by Intel to help developers gain maximum performance for the Intel(R) XScale(TM) technology. The IDP helps embedded device developers quickly and easily configure software and hardware for products.

The Intel VTune Performance Analyzer's intimate knowledge of the Intel PXA250 processor enables it to provide extensive insights into how software calls utilize the CPU. Its extensive tuning capabilities enable it to identify potential performance issues and suggest techniques to optimize performance.

The VTune Performance Analyzer is compatible with the following operating systems: Microsoft Windows CE.NET, Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows ME, Windows NT(R) 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows .NET(R) Server Family, Windows Advanced Server, Limited Edition, and Linux(R).
