BACKGROUND:

On the heels of significant recognition for its signature exhibition at the 2003 Philadelphia Flower Show, the region's premier florist is making news again with the grand opening of a newly-renovated Main Line location.

Robertson's will celebrate its new storefront with an Open House that will feature customer appreciation events, including the chance to win free flowers every month for a year and 10% off all purchases. Robertson's will also reach out to the Wayne community, offering free flowers to all commuters at the Wayne train station the evening of Monday (April 7), Wednesday (April 9) and Friday (April 11).

While concentrating on floral offerings, the new 2500-square-foot location will also feature a section of Robertson's Seedlings, specializing in clothing, gifts and keepsakes for infants and children.

A family-owned business founded in Chestnut Hill in 1927, Robertson's has grown to four locations and 100 employees that provide daily delivery throughout the Delaware Valley. Originally known for a unique sense of style in exquisite flowers and arrangements, Robertson's has also become well recognized for its unique selection of plants and topiaries, gifts, home accessories and furniture.

In 1992, Robertson's Seedlings Baby Boutique opened its first location in Chestnut Hill. Along with fabulous day-to-day floral designs delivered anywhere, Robertson's list of clients includes the Kimmel Center Opening Gala and the Philadelphia Flower Show Dinner for PNC Bank.
